Bringing Real Change to North India's Villages

Empower India Foundation works on the ground in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan. We don’t just distribute charity; we help hardworking rural families stand on their own feet through education, health, and livelihoods.

Who We Are

Connected to Our Roots. Working for Our People.

Our journey started right here in the Hindi heartland. While the big cities are moving fast, we noticed that many families in our villages are still struggling for the basics—a good school for their children, a doctor nearby, and a steady way to earn a living.

Based out of Firozabad (UP), our team isn’t sitting in glass offices. We are everyday people—teachers, retired doctors, and youth volunteers. We sit with the village Sarpanch (headman) and local elders to understand what the village actually needs, rather than deciding everything ourselves.

“We believe true progress only happens when the last family in the village has enough to eat, an opportunity to learn, and the dignity to earn.”

What We Do

Focusing on Basics that Matter

We don’t do a hundred different things. We focus on three core areas that can truly change a family’s future for generations to come.

Project Shiksha

Keeping Kids in School

Project Shiksha

In many villages, girls drop out of school because they don't have safe transport or money for books. We run evening tuition centers, provide school bags, winter sweaters, and bicycles to make sure the daughters of our villages finish their education.

Project Swasthya

Doctor At The Doorstep

Project Swasthya

Getting to a town hospital costs a daily wage earner a lot of money. We run Mobile Medical Vans (Chalta-firta Aspatal) that visit remote villages in Rajasthan and Bihar. We provide free checkups, basic medicines, and special care for pregnant mothers.

How We Work

Our Simple Ground Process

We don’t force our ideas on people. We work like a family, listening to the elders and empowering the youth to build their own village.

Step 1: The Village Meeting (Chaupal)

Before starting any project, our team visits the village and sits down with the locals at the Chaupal. We talk to the Sarpanch and the women to understand their real daily problems—is the school too far, or is the drinking water unclean?

We don’t want the village to depend on us forever. We create a small committee of local youth and women to run the project. Because it’s their village, they take care of the school or the sewing center much better than anyone outside could.

Whether we are distributing winter clothes or organizing a health camp, our volunteers take pictures and keep clear bills. We share these honest reports with everyone who donates, so you always know where your money went.

Our biggest success is when a village doesn’t need us anymore. Once the local women’s group starts earning well or the village clinic is running smoothly, we hand over the complete responsibility to the locals and move to help the next village.

Our Journey

How It All Started

A Small Step in Firozabad

We started as a small group in Firozabad, UP. Our first project was an evening tuition class for 40 children from the families of local glass-bangle makers.

Standing Together During Covid

When the pandemic hit villages hard, we focused on survival. Our team delivered over 1.5 Lakh Dal-Chawal kits and arranged oxygen cylinders across UP and Bihar.

Our First Medical Van

We noticed kids were missing tuitions because they were sick and the hospital was far. So, we started 'Chalta-Firta Aspatal' (Mobile Clinic) to provide medicines in the village square.

Empowering Women

Today, we are proudly helping thousands of women in Rajasthan and UP open their first bank accounts and start small businesses, helping them earn respect and money in their own households.

Trust & Honesty

Your Money is Safe with Us

You work hard for your money. When you choose to give it to us, we make sure it is handled with complete honesty and legal transparency.

Who Manages the NGO?

Our foundation is not run by one single owner. It is managed by a trusted committee of retired teachers, respected government officers, and senior doctors from our own cities. They don’t take a salary from the NGO; they work with us just to give back to the society.

We have strict rules against corruption. If any volunteer is found misusing even a single rupee, they are immediately removed. Trust is our biggest asset.

Fully Registered NGO

We work strictly by the rules set by the Government of India. Our paperwork is always clean and up-to-date.

NITI Aayog Darpan: We are registered on the Government’s NGO portal with a valid ID.

FCRA Approved: We hold the permission from the Home Ministry to safely receive donations from Indians living abroad (NRIs).

CSR Ready: We work with big companies to manage their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds for village welfare.

Save Tax When You Donate

Empower India Foundation is officially registered with the Income Tax Department. When you donate to us, you can claim a 50% tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. We will send the receipt directly to your email.

Every year, a team of professional Chartered Accountants checks our accounts. We don’t hide anything. You can even download our yearly money reports from our website to see exactly how we spent the funds.
